Tina's Saving Grace

This beautiful, sweet TB female is a complete package. She comes from excellent genetic lines and, as a black, sports a very fine fleece. She produced a nice staple length this past year, with a total shear just under 8 lbs. She was shown at Txolan, a double show, but unfortunately, didn't place as well as hoped. The primary issue with all 5 juveniles I took was tender fleece, which could have been due to the high stress the entire herd was under after being moved in December 2020 to an extreme climate. As a 5-month-old, I'm sure that, along with weaning, took its toll. The good news is her fleece is growing in beautifully this year. As a breeder, I could hope for more density in my entire herd, but with her fineness and uniformity, I'm pleased with what I'm seeing.

Grace is an excellent mother! She had her first cria this year, and what a sweetheart! Dark Brown girl- Oceana. Grace delivered easily and without help. I am excited to pair her with a young roan male, Grayson, for her 2026 cria.
